Susan and I just finished day 4 on the Erie Canal. We're tied up at the terminal wall in the lovely little town of Fairport, just east of Rochester, NY. I'm delighted to report that all is well. The canal is as pretty as we remember. The engine has never run smoother. We are enjoying ourselves immensely.
